Your wedding or elopement ceremony has been scheduled, and the ceremony preferences you provided during booking will be used to help prepare for your appointment.
Please review the information below before your ceremony.
Your Marriage License
Please bring your original Florida marriage license to your ceremony.
You provided the effective date of your marriage license when booking. Please double-check your license before your appointment to make sure:
• Your ceremony date falls within the valid dates shown on the license.
• The information printed on the license is correct.
• Any applicable waiting period has passed.
Your ceremony cannot be performed before the marriage license becomes effective.
If you discover an issue with your marriage license, please contact the Clerk of Court that issued the license before your ceremony.
Identification
Both parties should have valid government-issued photo identification available on the day of the ceremony.
Your Ceremony Preferences
We have the ceremony preferences you provided when booking, including your selected ceremony style, ring exchange preference, and how you would like to be pronounced and/or presented at the conclusion of your ceremony.
You do not need to submit this information again.
If you'd like to make a change, please contact us before your ceremony so we have time to update your ceremony preparations.
Make Your Ceremony Your Own
Your ceremony can be as simple or personalized as you'd like.
Depending on your service, you may choose to include:
• An exchange of rings
• Personal vows
• A short reading
• A prayer or special wording
• Other meaningful ceremony elements
If you have special requests, please provide them before your ceremony whenever possible.
For larger weddings, please also provide any applicable ceremony timeline, wedding coordinator information, processional details, special instructions, and name pronunciations in advance.
Guests & Witnesses
You're welcome to have family and friends present to celebrate with you.
Florida does not require witnesses for your marriage ceremony.
If you invited guests through your booking, they will receive the applicable appointment information through the booking system.

Our office provides a private, professional setting for couples who prefer a simple and intimate ceremony.
Ceremony at Another Location
If we're meeting at your home, wedding venue, park, beach, hotel, or another agreed-upon location, please make sure the ceremony address provided with your appointment is complete and accurate.
Please let us know in advance about any:
• Parking instructions
• Gate or access codes
• Venue or building entry instructions
• Room, pavilion, or specific meeting location
• On-site contact information
If the location changes after booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
